Most Depressing Movies

新一期的 Empire (April 2009) 選出了 10 部最令人感到咀喪的電影，包括：

1. Requiem for a dream
2. They shoot horses, don't they?
3. Leaving Las Vegas
4. La Strada
5. 21 Grams
6. Grave of the fireflies
7. Dancer in the dark
8. Winter light
9. Lilja-4-Ever
10. Million dollar baby

上述10部電影，看過了5套，當中認為最悲情是 "再見螢火蟲"、"天黑黑" 及 "永遠的微笑"。

"再見螢火蟲"，小時候看了一次以後便不敢再看了。有幾個畫面現在還印象深刻：被紗布裹著、長滿咀蟲的媽媽屍體、飛滿螢火蟲的夏夜、妹妹響亮的笑聲、氣息奄奄的哥哥躺在人來人往的車站。這套反戰電影的調子悲涼，淒涼得令人不寒而慄。果汁糖鐵罐的糖果所剩無幾時，妹妹的生命也走到了盡頭。





那個視力逐漸衰弱的工廠女工，為了治好兒子的遺傳眼疾，辛苦工作賺取手術費，甚至拼了自己的命保著兒子的雙眼。
I've seen it all, I have seen the trees,
I've seen the willow leaves dancing in the breeze
I've seen a man killed by his best friend,
And lives that were over before they were spent.
I've seen what I was - I know what I'll be
I've seen it all - there is no more to see!

未看 Grave of the fireflies 及 Dancer in the dark 前，沒想過卡通片及音樂劇的故事是可以這樣悲慘的。

豆蔻年華少女，若不是遇人不淑，從蘇聯走到瑞典，她的結局會是不一樣。

再看這幾部電影，只希望自己可以有方法拯救這些主人翁，使他們逃離厄運，讓他們過一個愉快的人生。
