小時候聽安徒生童話故事 Little Mermaid，美人魚為了親近王子，不惜與巫婆交換了自己美妙的聲線，換取了一雙腿。

究竟美人魚的聲線是如何動人的？故事中有這樣的描述：

Through the halls flowed a broad stream, and in it danced the mermen and the mermaids to the music of their own sweet singing. No one on earth has such a lovely voice as theirs. The little mermaid sang more sweetly than them all. The whole court applauded her with hands and tails; and for a moment her heart felt quite gay, for she knew she had the loveliest voice of any on earth or in the sea.

中學時期，菲籍老師在課堂上播放幾首歌曲，包括 "Dreaming" 及 "Part of your World"，餘音繚繞，原來是出自迪士尼卡通片 The Little Mermaid (1989) 的電影原聲聲帶。我問老師借過了錄音帶，主唱者是 Jodi Benson，Benson 有一把如天籟般的歌聲。從此，Jodi Benson 這個名字便一直記在心中。

今年二月，真人主演的迪士尼電影 "Enchanted" ，由 Amy Adams 主唱的幾首曲 "True Love's Kiss"，"Happy Working Song" 以及 "That's How You Know"，又掀起了迪士尼動畫音樂熱。

在 IMDB 看過資料，原來有一幕，導演是刻意安排 Amy Adams (1974) & Jodi Benson (1961) 同場演出，這一幕實在巧妙，更看得出導演的別出心裁。
