2007 BAFTA (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) 最佳外語獎 (Film Not in the English Language) 由德國電影 The Lives of Others 獲得，電影已於去年取得了第78屆奧斯卡外語獎。

電影 "色．戒" 有獲 BAFTA 提名，被擊敗了。

BAFTA 五部外語片提名，除 The Kite Runner 之外，其他全部看了。頭三部是觸及生命的，意義頗深。La Vie en Rose 是關於法國歌后 Edith Piaf (1915 - 1963) 的一生，女主角 Marion Cotillard 演得好，但我對自傳電影這種 genre 始終不會特別喜歡。華語電影 "色．戒" 與其他電影相比，在更深一層的意義上略欠不足。

看電影 The Lives of Others，就像是歎一壺英國茶，尾段就像是...... 喝罷最後一口茶以後，品嚐那片苦中帶點甘甜的巧克力，很有味道。
